so me and the wife went to the theater to see the movie "my sisters keeper" (my wife loved the book and really look forward to seeing it)
i should explain we got a new theater that has this vip service.. from what i understood it was a separate area where you can watch the movie and order beer and not deal with annoying teenagers (sounds freakin brilliant eh) you must be 19 to sit in this section, BUT the tickets are about 20 bucks a person, so for our movie we were not planing to sit in the fancy section, especially since my knocked up wife can't drink anyway.
turns out when it is available in vip it is ONLY in vip and we would HAVE to pay 20 bucks to see it.
so we decided against it. it sucks because we could of went to the other theater and this would not have been a problem, but going to the new one meant we couldn't make it to the other one in time. so no movie for us totally sucked.
the part that really makes no sense is that it was a pg 13 movie but in a 19 plus theater. meaning no one under the age of 19 can see a movie that no one under the age of 13 can see..... WHAT horrible planing on there part.

the worst part of it all was the back up of transformers (which we would pay 20 bucks to see in the vip section, so we didn't have to deal with said annoying teenagers) was already sold out..... so here we are at home.... watching yes dear.... DAMN U CINEPLEX!!

i am 24 with a crap job but a good life. i love comic books, TV, books, i am just a fan of media in general.

my favorite superhero is the Green Lantern (Hal is top fallowed by Kyle then killowog then sodam yat..... then probably mongo)

i one day want to be a writer: novels, comics, movies ect.

i am in part starting this blog because a psychic told my father in law i would, and since the other things she told him sounded good (some came true) i might as well play along right?

i am planing on reviewing movies and comics and novels, as well as bitching about live and reveling in the simple happy moments i go through.

i named my blog monkey butler after a conversation i had with my niece as to what i would buy with a million dollars.... i would want a monkey butler to bring me drinks (admit it you want one too)

well i hope i can update this regularly and have some topics people would be interested in.

i might even make another post tonight... i have something in mind for it
